Our cases for DJ equipment, specifically designed for the S3, S4, or S8, are manufactured from heavy-duty wood and aluminum and feature Velcro-layered pads to keep your kit secure and protected no matter how much you move. The kit is good, I love my s4, but it sucks to feel so left behind, every traktor update feels like a slap in the face as they focus solely on their subscription services and provide no benefits to people that have paid for the hardware/ software outright.Robust, reliable, and built for the road, TRAKTOR KONTROL DJ cases and bags help protect your gear and enhance your control while playing. Not only that but even several years after release there is no customisation for the S4 displays (without using unofficial mods) and you can't even recalibrate the gain knobs on the S4 even with the traktor calibration utility. I think that it's pretty evident too considering that traktor were the first to do stems and the S4 was built with stem functionality and yet serato is somehow the first to achieve live stem separation and is now to go to platform for stems. Thanks for all the comments, it helped a lot with orientating!Īs an owner of the S4 I would recommend going for one of the Pioneer controllers, NI has not only demonstrated but also openly admitted that their traktor products are taking a back seat when it comes to development and support so that they can focus on their production software and subscription models. Also the option to use the FLX-4 in a mobile set-up is quite appealing. I can use the FLX-4 also with Traktor if I want to, but the whole ecosystem of Pioneer seems a bit better for me. UPDATE: I went with the FLX-4 as at that price point you get quite a lot of value. Might as well get the FLX6-GT insteadĭo any of you have experience with the above controllers and would recommend for or against them? Need an upgrade for Serato Pro, the 249 USD for the license seems pretty expensive. Will interface with VDJ, Serato and Traktor.Nice for on-the-road mixes with Mobile as a soundcard.I mostly want to play at home, and at a few house/family parties. I'm looking to buy a controller and can't decide which one to get.My budget is around EUR 500, but can go a little above if it's worth it.
